Headlining Treads & Threads 2009 is five-time Grammy award winner Michael McDonald.

Often called the “blue-eyed soul” singer, McDonald has been a fixture on the pop music scene for more than three decades. Entering the national spotlight in the 1970s, he contributed to mega-hits like “Takin’ It To The Streets,” “It Keeps You Runnin’,” and “Minute By Minute.” His No. 1 smash hit, “What A Fool Believes,” earned three Grammy awards.

He has collaborated with some of the greatest musicians in the industry, including Patti LaBelle, Kenny Loggins and Vince Gill. Most recently, he released the platinum-selling "Motown" in 2003, "Motown Two" in 2004 and "Soul Speak" in 2008.
